Whole House Retrofit Project Case Study

PBM were pleased to have worked with our client RHA (Wales) and with the Sustainable Traditional Building Alliance (STBA) on a pilot retro fit project to a traditional Welsh valley terraced property. PBM upskilled staff to be able to successfully apply/fit the innovative measures utilised on this project.

The success of the measures is demonstrated in the enclosed case study report from the STBA and graphical analysis, resident feedback and the improvement in EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating from “C” to “A” rating.

Quality & Environmental accreditation

Property Building Maintenance (Wales) Ltd are proud to announce that we have gained ISO:9001 Quality Management & ISO:14001 Environmental Management accreditation for the fifth year running.

This award is in no small part due to our success in implementing the most widely adopted QMS in the world. Awards like these validate our long-held conviction that we provide exceptional service to our clients.

In 2017, PBM began documenting, controlling, and measuring our processes and services as part of our effort to create a Quality Management System.

One of the reasons we wanted to get ISO certification was so that we could guarantee the quality of our products and services to our clients. At PBM, we are committed to providing the most dependable services for green building maintenance, renovation, and repair.

To earn our certification, we underwent a rigorous auditing and accreditation process conducted by Lloyds Register to ensure that we adhere to the highest quality and environmental standards in all of our operations.

Accreditation was just the beginning; ever since, we've been hard at work adjusting and bettering our offerings to better serve our clients.

PBM Sponsor Junior Racer

PBM are proud to sponsor Twm, 13 years old and a pupil at Ysgol Maes-Y-Gwnedraeth near Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire.

Twm’s main hobby is motor racing and his interest has been passed down through his family from his grandparents and mother.

Twm said:

“I began competing in autograss last year and race a junior special with a 1.2 vauxhall corsa engine reaching speeds of up to 80mph on a grass track. During the winter I re-built my car during my spare time with the help of my grandfather. This year I am competing in the British Autograss Championship or better known as the B.A.S. Championships.

My goal this year is to improve my racing and mechanical skills so that I can further my racing abilities.”

Good luck Twm in the new season from everyone at PBM and drive safely!!

PBM support RHA’s ‘Little Shed’ Project

PBM would like to congratulate RHA and the Black Sheep Youth Project with the launch of the Little Shed.

Their young people worked to renovate the Little Shed while gaining new skills and qualifications. Thirty students from local comprehensive schools have worked on the space and these amazing young people have all completed Level 1 in Health and Safety in construction, Level 1 in Asbestos Awareness and Level 2 in Manual Handling, 2 have progressed to gain employment

The space used to be RHA (Wales) old office but with the help of the Black Sheep youth project and contractor contributions it’s been transformed into a modern and welcoming space which will be home to the Grub Hub food parcel project, a Community Fridge, Digital Friday’s, Play It Again Sports shops, health sessions plus so much more.

PBM contributed and supported the venture through our Community Benefits programme (‘Giving Back‘) by contributing free labour and materials.

Geoff Griffiths, Director said “It has been rewarding seeing RHA’s vision at the Little Shed become a reality and becoming an asset and focus for the local community. We are proud to have been able to contribute to this worthwhile project and wish the Little Shed success for the future.”
